Preparing for trial.
At NL, before we go to trial, we prepare your case like no other firm. We know from experience that in order to win a complex case, we have to understand how the jurors will frame this case in their own minds. It is not just preparing for direct and cross examinations. It is much more. It is conducting mock trials and focus groups to discover and vet issues from non-lawyers. It is predicting the issues that will arise and training in how to seamlessly address them. We train like a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu fighter getting ready for a big fight so we have the confidence to be able to adapt to and navigate through all uncertain situations. We try to prepare for all contingencies. We practice and practice as much as possible in getting ready for trial so that when an adverse situation arises we are prepared to handle it.
